Last week we started on our calendar Art, this year our teacher decided to do Aboriginal Art about animals. This is mine.

Beach Haiku Poem

 

This week my class had to make Haiku poems, the first one we had to do either winter or the Olympic the second one we had a choice of anything. This is my winter Haiku poem.

This week we were learning about Te Reo but this time we had to make sentences about items, we had to do about 5 sentences. This is mine :)

This week in T1 we have been learning how to ask each other how you feel in Maori, We had to make a google drawing and put 6 emojis of how people feel. This is mine :) 

Descriptive Writing

 Last week we had to write a descriptive writing of a picture that our teacher sent us. And we had to imagine we are there, this is mine.

As I stroll along the beach, I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my feet, I hear the waves crashing gently. The splashes of people diving into the light, blue, fresh ocean. I run as fast as my feet can carry me towards what my body sees, an endless pool of crystal clear water. I take a deep breath and dive into the crashing waves. Floating peacefully among the waves. The wind gently passes over my head, while my body is in the refreshing waves. The red and orange sun begins sinking it’s way back into the depths of space. The tints of red, orange and pink that is flooding the sky is a masterpiece. I begin to walk out of the cool water and take some iced lemonade to drink. As I am drinking the lemonade I get too relaxed to think about anything else. 

Who am I Poem

 

Last week we started to do a "Who am I" poem, I had to put my family's members name and describe myself. This is my poem.. :)

This week in T1 we had to make a picture of ourselves in a photo, I'v always wanted to ride an animal so I chose an elephant to ride on. :) We used remove background and unsplash for images.

Ally avatar - Fish in a tree

 

The past weeks we have been reading a novel called Fish in a tree. Our teacher has given us a task to make Ally on the site Avatar maker. We had to imagine what she would look like in the book and add words that describe her, this is what I think Ally looks like.

The Unknown Forest

“Once upon a time there was- Haha you thought I was gonna read you a fantasy book” Anna Laughed “BUT ANNA?! YOU PROMISED TO READ ME THE BOOK!” Oaken shouted angrily because Anna tricked him, “Okay okay, Once upon a time there was a huge house-” “Kids dinner is ready!!” Mum yelled from downstairs, “Ugh you read so slow” Oaken told Anna “not like you can too duck head!” Anna chuckled and ran downstairs so she could sit on the best seat, “HOW RUDE, YOU BETTER NOT SIT ON MY SEAT!” Oaken ran downstairs like a tornado.
She was really zooming, He saw Anna sit on his seat so he pushed her from behind the chair, “hehe..” Oaken sat down on the special seat leaving Anna on the ground “Owuch! HEY I THAT'S MY SEAT!” Anna yelled “NOT ITS MINE!” Oaken yelled back “KIDS STOP IT! I'll sit on that seat.” Dad shouted, “UGH! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT” Shouted Oaken “NOT ITS NOT” Anna grumbled “ENOUGH! Let's eat now, no more yelling.” asked dad.
After eating dinner the kids went upstairs to their own bedrooms, Anna closed the door and got changed in her pajamas, after getting changed she goes to turn off the lights and goes to bed. “Anna, Anna wake up!” called Oaken ``Go away…” Anna said with a very exhausted voice, “ugh, fine then ill be right back” Oaken mumbles with a slight evil laugh. Oaken goes down stairs and goes to the laundry room, he opens the door and gets a red bucket then he fills up the bucket with icy cold water, 1 minutes later he grabs the bucket by the handle then goes upstairs to Anna’s room, he opens the door slowly walked to her bed “3.. 2.. 1!” He threw the bucket at Anna and ran to his room, “WHAT THE- OAKEN!!” Yelled Anna, she opened the blanket and banged on Oaken's door “What is going on?!” Mum asked Anna, “and why are you all wet?” “Well Oaken filled a bucket with freezing water and threw it at me!” she replied, Mum nodded in such a disgraceful face, she went downstairs like nothing happened, “wait mum! Where's dad?” asked Anna “He's moving the furnaces” “It's today?!” “yup” Anna gasped and went to her room to get her towel, she dried herself really fast and got dressed then ran downstairs to help dad, “Oh! Good morning my little muffin!” Dad called her, “dad!” Said Anna with such an embarrassed face, “fine, i”ll call you pancakes then.” “That's worse!” “Haha” anyways Oaken and mum went downstairs to help them. 2 hours later they finally finished moving the furnaces to the van, “Well goodbye house!” Anna and Oaken shouted, the car turned on and dad drove to the new house; it only took 25 minutes. “We are here!” Dad said “whoa!” Both children said, Anna and Oaken ran inside the house and saw it was huge! Anna wanted to explore so she went to her dad and asked "Dad can i go explore the house?" her dad replied with "of course you can pick the rooms as well" "Thanks" She goes to the back yard to see what there was but then she felt a cold breeze coming from the right, she followed the wind and saw a glowing flower, she touched it and it did nothing so she goes deeper in side the forest until she saw something moved it has no face, all black, no shoes and long claws. she called "Hello?.. Anyone there?.." the creature moved again but never said a word, she tried going back to the house but forgot which way it was, "A-AA-AAAHHHH" she screamed with such a frightful face because she felt something grabbing her shoulder, "ANNA?!' Dad yelled, "ANNA?!" and they never saw her again from that day on...

Life during lockdown

Life During Lock down

Well.. my life during lock down was pretty fun but then it was very lame and boring. At first I got really excited because we didn't have to go to school but of course my mum still wanted me to do work online, anyways..


I woke up to a very nice sunny day. My eyes were shining bright, so I got off my bed, stretched my body and went to close my curtains. I went to the kitchen to get food but I didn't know what to eat so I made crepes for breakfast. It was delicious! I added nutella and pieces of bananas. No one was awake but me so I went back to my room with the crepes and played video games. I played roblox and minecraft. I also made a new friend on roblox. He was very delightful. I enjoyed playing with him.


Few hours of playing games, my brother woke up and told me if he wanted to play with me of course I said yes because I got a bit bored playing video games for a few hours so me and my brother got my yellow ball and started played soccer inside the house, it was pretty noisy, also my brother almost hit the TV whoopsies.. Then my brother wanted to play video games so I put the yellow ball away in the storage room, then after I got my phone and started texting my friends,



2 minutes later my mum woke up and told me to go to the online school ugh lame. But I had to do it anyway so I put my phone away and grabbed my chrome book although I forgot where I put it so I had to find it. It took a couple of minutes but I noticed that it was on charge in my room. I really am dumb. I grabbed my chrome book, unplugged the charger and went to the sofa to sit there, I sat on the sofa then I opened the chrome book and went on email to go on the call. I was really nervous to go on it but I did it anyway and I didn't want anyone to see my face so I turned off the camera.


After the online class I had to get lunch so I went to the kitchen and made a sandwich with chicken, some lettuce and sauce. It was really good. 4-5 hours later it got a bit dark so I went to have a nice warm shower for some minutes. I got out of the shower freshly, the weather was chilly but warm at the same time, I got changed into my pyjamas headed off to the kitchen and had dinner, mum made roasted chicken with potato gravy, some vegetables and fries. It was one of my favourite dinner yum! After I had dinner I put my dish on the sink and went to the bathroom, I brushed my teeth, washed my face. I went to my bedroom, cleaned the bed, turned off all the lights and went straight to bed. “Goodnight”

This week in T2 we had to write a story about what we did in our lockdown, my lockdown was pretty good.. anyways this is my lockdown story. :)

Class and home hero

This week in class we have been talking about and working around heroes in class and at home. We had to think of what makes a hero in class and at home.

This week we had to make up a story about the girl in the video we also had to pick a theme my theme was mysterious, if you want to watch the video its called sometimes the star my story is about a girl who ran away from home, i hope you like it :)
